How to truly change your belief systems
Knowledge vs Knowing
We live in an age of knowledge; it surrounds us in many different spheres, at the touch of a fingertip. There is so much out there. There is something about information that you can just feel is right, and is in resonance with your truth. This is the information that you seek, and that seeks you in return.
When it comes to your healing and the journey of your Self, you can take in all the knowledge you possibly can, but it is not until you actually believe this knowledge as a part of you, that it has any benefit.
For example, do you ever find yourself having either been told something by someone, or having had knowledge of some kind given to you in some way, but it is not until you have a personal similar experience, that that particular knowledge becomes a lesson within yourself?
The little lightbulb goes off, and all of a sudden you think to yourself:
“Oh yes that’s what that meant! If only I’d listen to those words and had actually taken them in, I wouldn’t have had to go on this lesson. Now I know exactly what they mean.”
These are the things that are the difference between to know, and knowing. It’s the difference between reading something theoretically, and actually embodying it and knowing it as a part of you.
Somebody can always remember some wise words spoken by a philosopher, and relay them to you, and this is the passing of knowledge. It certainly does not mean that they have this knowledge as part of their belief system.
Here lies the difference between KNOWLEDGE, and KNOWING. This is also one of the key principles behind TGSS, making sure that you not only have the tools to feed your knowledge with information, but that you can integrate this into your belief systems, and live with it, and as it.
